We utilize Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) Technique / Analysis which emphasizes optimal posture and spinal alignment as the primary goals of chiropractic care while simultaneously documenting improvements in pain and functional based outcomes The uniqueness of CBP® treatment is in structural rehabilitation of the spine and posture.
As a part of that analysis We use objective studies including Pre / Post X-rays and Electronic Posture Evaluations, Electronic Range of Motion to determine the cause of the problem, how to correct it and more importantly, how to keep it from recurring.
We utilize an electronic 3D posture evaluation called Biotonix. “Everyone should be able to access 100% of their physical and mental capacities.” Sylvain Guimond, D.O. PhD, Founder Biotonix
“Abnormal posture is linked to the development and progression of many spinal conditions and injuries. Normal posture is when the head, the ribcage and pelvis are perfectly centered on each other. Posture affects and moderates every physiologic function from breathing to hormone production spinal pain headaches, mood, blood pressure, pulse, amd lung capacity are among the functions most easily influenced by posture.” AJPM 1994;4;36-39
Poor Posture Affects:
- Over 100 joints,
- Dozens of muscles including all core muscles,
- Causes diminished lung capacity,
- Causes diminished cardio capacity,
- Reduces physical performance,
- Affects hormone production,
- Decreases Range of Motion,
- Shortens life Span
An improperly functioning nervous system can cause fertility problems. Vertebrae, particularly in the lower back that are misaligned can disrupt the communication between the nerves and your reproductive organs. Chiropractic care can correct the misalignment, thus increasing the ability to become fertile.
Studies show women receiving chiropractic care through their first pregnancy had 24% shorter labor times than the group not receiving chiropractic care. The alignment of your spine and pelvis play a key role in the comfort and the ease of your pregnancy and delivery, respectively. Many times chiropractic care can help a woman avoid an unnecessary C-section due to a breech baby position. Also the need for medical intervention during labor greatly decreases in women who have had pre-natal chiropractic care.
Having birthed 3 children naturally, Dr. Gabriella Moss can attest to the benefits of chiropractic care. Total labor and delivery, her 3 children were born in 5 ½ hours, 70 minutes, and 30 minutes respectively.
This is a wonderful, easy, and gentle way to help your body cope with all of this change, keep you feeling good, and allow you to carry and deliver your baby with more ease and comfort.
Chiropractic care promotes a properly functioning central nervous system and enables children to build a strong foundation of well-being. Simple chiropractic checkups can have a lasting impact on your child’s long-term health.
Most parents understand the concept of oral hygiene in the pediatric dental office. Spinal hygiene takes a similar path with treatment. We teach our children how to care for their spines. Results in children often include a decrease in allergies, a reduction in sleeping disorders, less hyperactivity and improved concentration.

Corrective Chiropractic care is designed for Athletes.
Sports that require you to throw a ball, kick a ball, or swing a club, bat, or racquet are one-sided physical activities. This can cause the spinal column to lose its natural symmetrical balance. Even other more symmetrical sports like running, swimming and biking can create damage from repeated motions. This is known as microtrauma.
A misaligned spine can interfere with the spine’s biomechanics, causing athletic performance to suffer. Regular adjustments keep the spine working symmetrically and therefore smoothly, which in turn boosts the body’s overall performance.
Over the years we have taken care of many elite athletes and weekend warriors. Whatever your level of competition……

We base our recommendations for orthotics on our physical examination findings as well an electronic foot scan. The product line is from Footlevers.
We should have 3 arches in our feet. Three arches form a tripod-the strongest structure for support. In the three arches we have more nerves than any part of our body per square inch. Our feet should provide both functional stability when we stand, walk or run and also proper neurological impulses which contribute to balance, coordination and reflexes. The foundation of our posture are our feet.

Our Model of Care
Our model is based on the concept of salutogenisis.
Salutogenesis is a term meaning the creation of health. Its focus is on health, well-being, and improved quality of life. In contrast is the pathogenic model, which focuses on the treatment of disease. This emphasis on pathology often includes fear of symptoms and disease. A salutogenic approach looks at the myriad of health and lifestyle choices that can be utilized to create better vitality and well-being. Salutogenic practitioners use encouragement and support in their care, with an inherent trust in the body’s wisdom to adapt, heal, and regenerate.
Salutogenesis, from a chiropractic perspective, is about improved adaptability and increased life expression. In addition to proper diet, increased exercise, adequate rest and processing of life’s stressors, we recognize the importance of the nervous system in facilitating optimal function and therefore improved quality of life.
